Top photos from Customers, Agents and Employees honored by Company

Winners have been selected in USHEALTH Group’s nationwide Picture of Health Photo Contest.
As part of the company-wide emphasis USHEALTH Group places on the importance of a healthy lifestyle, the Picture of Health photo contest sought candid images of vibrant, healthy people participating in activities which promote good health and vitality as well as images of animals or objects such as food, landscapes, sports equipment which suggest healthy living. The winner in each of three Divisions – Customer, Agent and Employee – will receive an iPad 2 with 3G capability. Winning photos will be displayed at the USHEALTH Group Home Office and in various promotional materials.
USHEALTH Advisors Senior Vice President of Marketing Bill Shelton stated, “We are very pleased by the response to this contest, both in terms of number and quality of entries. It allowed our Customers, Agents and Employees an opportunity to explore their photographic skills while promoting healthy habits for all of us. I was impressed by all the entries but, I was equally impressed by our judges. Judging this contest could not have been an easy task because there were so many quality entries. We want to thank everyone who entered our Picture of Health Photo Contest, and of course we want to extend a special thank you to our judges.”
Shannon Dahmer of Aurora, Colorado submitted the winning entry in the Customer Category, Tranquility. This prize-winning image shows boaters rowing in the middle of a sparkling lake and enjoying the beauty of nature on a brilliant, sunny day. Honorable Mention in the Customer division goes to Jana Turkington of West Grove, Pennsylvania for her photo titled Summer Beauties of her granddaughter holding a freshly picked basket of raspberries.
USHEALTH Advisors Agent Sam Bozanich of Tampa, Florida claims both the Winner and Honorable Mention spots in the Agent Category. The winning photo Diesel Playing in Water is lauded by the judge because “It makes you smile … I love the frozen motion of the water.” Sam’s Honorable Mention photo Exhilaration depicts a couple joyfully and energetically leaping into the air from the top of a rock formation.
Both the Winner and Honorable Mention places in the Employee Category are earned by Gwen Robbins of Saginaw, Texas with Up, Up and Away winning for its memorable framing of a child being held upward into the sunlight and Wrapped Around My Finger showing a tiny newborn baby grasping the index finger of the mostly unseen person holding him. The judge in this category cites the artistry as well as the emotional content in both of these photos.
